From the garden to the table cooking class - £137

From my garden to your kitchen let's cook with the Summer's bounty!

10am until 3pm Cottenham, Cambridge
The class is vegetarian but not vegan

What will you learn at my Garden to Table Masterclass?

Experience the pure joy of cooking with the freshest ingredients, harvested straight from the garden!

In this unique “Garden to Table” workshop, we’ll venture into the garden to gather the day’s bounty and then head back to the kitchen to transform our harvest into a delicious feast. From time to time we will also use the vegetables of local farms. There are so many around my area, it would be a shame not to make the most of them.

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, a frequent visitor to the farm shop, or simply seeking culinary inspiration, this class offers a truly hands-on connection to your food.

We’ll create a selection of both sweet and savoury dishes together, and if the weather is kind, we might even cook some of our creations outdoors!

Finally, we’ll sit down to enjoy a vibrant lunch showcasing the garden’s goodness, with plenty of leftovers to take home. (Please note: This class is vegetarian but not vegan.)

What you'll get:

  • Homemade lunch.
  • Aprons to wear throughout the class.
  • All the ingredients and equipment
Please ensure you have read the Terms and Conditions page, click HERE and my notes on food allergens HERE before booking.

Meet Corinne Payet: Where Passion Meets Plate at Gourmandises Académie

For me, cooking is more than just a skill, it’s a lifelong passion ignited in my childhood.

Though I was born on the sun-kissed island of Réunion, it was growing up in the heart of Provence that truly shaped my culinary foundation. The vibrant energy of my Réunionnais roots, combined with the refined techniques of French cuisine, creates a unique blend that you’ll experience in every class at Gourmandises Académie.

I believe in adding a touch of sunshine to every meal, and you’ll find that reflected in my signature dishes, where I playfully incorporate tropical Réunionnais flavours into sophisticated French classics.

All the recipes we explore at Gourmandises Académie are my own original creations, born from countless hours of experimentation and a deep love for sharing delicious food.

It was an honour to have received three stars in the Great Taste Awards, a testament to the dedication poured into each dish. I’m thrilled to open my home and share these “gourmandises” with you, inviting you to discover new flavours and techniques in a warm and inspiring environment.
