Since its start in November 2018, Le Bistrot Clandestin has been featuring the food of my beloved island of Réunion where I was born.
The food of Réunion is simple and unfussy, but its flavours make it sing. Experience the fragrant tang of the kaffir lime, the bright warmth of a creole cari and the heat and zing of rougail.
So, are you ready? 22nd October, I will bring you a 5 course fusion feast, with Apéritif créole (that will include a complementary fragrant cocktail called “Rhum Arrangé” and spicy canapés), an exotic starter, a traditional “cari” served with rice, beans and rougail , a very exotic dessert and a café gourmand with a miniardise to finish off.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of this event I will not be able to cater for specific dietary requirements (if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me). This is a BYO event but water will be provided.
