The food of Reunion – Take two… – 16th February 2019

Following the success of our first Bistro featuring the food of my beloved island of Réunion, I am taking you there for a second time.
This tropical Island is the place I was born, and it’s left its mark on my heart and in my cooking. The food of Réunion is simple and unfussy, but its flavours make it sing. Experience the fragrant tang of the kaffir lime, the bright warmth of a creole cari and the heat and zing of rougail. As this event is close to Valentine’s day, I have decided to make it extra special. Dare I say there will be a bit of sophistication and romance around my table. So, if you’re looking to impress your valentine, be it your best friend, girlfriend or boyfriend, this is the night.
So, are you ready? 16th February, I will bring you a 5 course fusion feast, with Apéritif créole (that will include a complementary fragrant cocktail called “Rhum Arrangé” and spicy canapés), an exotic starter, a traditional “cari” , a very exotic and romantic dessert and a café gourmand with miniardises to finish off.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of this event I will not be able to cater for specific dietary requirements (if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me). This is a BYO event but water will be provided.
