Pastry is my favourite. Weirdly, it’s even my to go to when I’m feeling low. Making the dough and turning it into delicious morsels, has somewhat a very soothing effect. So I find it extremely sad when people tell me they’re not good at it.
In this class, I will not only teach you how to make the perfect one, but also to enjoy making it.
In this workshop, you will learn a range of pastry, how to make the perfect sweet and savoury shortcrust, rough puff and also choux pastry. Together with a range of techniques such as frangipane and pastry cream to be able to create exquisite savoury croustades, quiches and friands, beautiful sweet tartes and choux. I’ll even push the boat a little by showing you how to make some beautiful decorations. This class is suitable for vegetarians.
At the end of the session, you will be able to take away your morish creations.
This class includes a delicious home made lunch with a complementary glass of wine.
